Fatal Model Ecosystem

The ecosystem operated in a highly dynamic and competitive environment, with complex flows involving:

• User communication • Subscription and recurring payments • Digital content consumption • Discovery and retention flows • Internal moderation and operational systems • Multi-platform experiences • Performance and scalability concerns

Design decisions needed to balance usability, operational efficiency, business goals and technical feasibility within products accessed by millions of users.

Key Contributions

Product Discovery & Validation

Worked closely with product and business teams conducting discovery initiatives, usability validations and interface explorations to identify opportunities and reduce friction across key journeys.

This included:

• User flow analysis • Interaction refinement • Hypothesis validation • Interface iteration based on product metrics • Cross-functional alignment with engineering and stakeholders

UI Systems & Scalability

One of my core responsibilities was improving consistency and scalability across the ecosystem.

I contributed to:

• Creation of reusable interface patterns • Component standardization • Structured handoff processes • Internal framework organization • Documentation improvements • More scalable Figma workflows using components, variants and Auto Layout

These initiatives improved collaboration between design and engineering while reducing inconsistencies during implementation.

Handoff & Engineering Collaboration

Because of my background in Systems Analysis and Development, I naturally operated very close to engineering and QA teams.

My work extended beyond interface creation into implementation refinement and production validation.

I actively participated in:

• Development handoff • UI specification organization • Edge case validation • QA review cycles • Post-implementation refinement • Responsive behavior validation • Component consistency reviews

This technical understanding allowed me to anticipate implementation constraints early and improve communication between design and development.

Product Scale

The ecosystem reached more than 14 million monthly visits, requiring a strong focus on:

• Performance-oriented interfaces • Scalable design decisions • Operational efficiency • Interface consistency • User retention and engagement

Design work needed to function reliably across large audiences and constantly evolving product requirements.

Outcome

The work contributed to:

• More consistent digital experiences across platforms • Better collaboration between design and engineering • More scalable design workflows • Improved interface organization and maintainability • Faster iteration cycles • Better alignment between user experience and business goals
